South superstar Naga Chaitanya has been hitting the headline lately, either for her separation from ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu or for his rumored relationship with Shobhita Dhulipala. Now, he has again hit the headlines as he smiled when asked about Shobhita in a recent interview.

In a chat with RJ Siddharth Kannan, while promoting Laal Singh Chaddha, Chaitanya was asked about Shobhita Dhulipala in the rapid-fire segment. Instead of replying immediately, he blushed and smiled, and then nodded his head. The ‘Thank You’ actor just gave a simple answer, “I'm just gonna smile.”




For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu and ended declared their separation after four long years of marriage through their social media in October 2021. Several rumours suggest that Chaitanya and Shobhita have been dating since the actor’s separation from Samantha.

Earlier in June, netizens trolled Samantha and her PR team for planting baseless rumours of  Naga Chaitanya and ‘Made in Heaven’ actress dating.  She reacted to this and took to her Twitter handle and expressed herself and wrote, “Rumours on girl - Must be true! Rumours on boy - Planted by girl! Grow up guys. Parties involved have clearly moved on... you should move on too! Concentrate on your work… on your families... move on.”

Meanwhile speaking about her separation from Samantha and moving on in life with Times of India. He quipped, “Whatever both of us wanted to say, we both put out a statement regarding that. That’s what I have always done with my personal life anyway. Things that I feel are crucial to be shared and put out, I do inform the media about it, whether it’s good or bad. I come out, tell the people about it through a statement and that’s it. In our case, Samantha has moved on, I’ve moved on and I don’t feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that.”

On the work front, Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing Balaraju in the next film Laal Singh Chadha marking his Bollywood debut. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamir Khan, and Mona Singh. The drama is the remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film is scheduled to release on August 11, 2022 pan India theatrically.
